THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Mzough U Tiv United Kingdom (MUTUK) is led by an Executive Committee, comprising of nine (9) elected members who convene regularly to address matters concerning the organisation's structure, operations, and plans for achieving its objectives.


The Executive Committee plays a crucial role and has legal responsibility to ensure that all decisions taken, are in line with the direction of the organisation. Below you will find the current officers, and how they help move things forward.

Victor Bemdoo Aleva, BFP FCA

President

Lead the community and facilitate efficient team work.

    Victor Bemdoo Aleva is a Chartered Accountant by profession with over 15 years of experience. 


    He has worked over the years with national and multinational companies as Head of Finance, Finance Manager and Project Manager in the UK and Europe. 


    He is the founder and CEO of AVS Services Limited, VAST Properties Ltd., and Aleva & Co Chartered Accountants Ltd. These companies provide various services cutting across Accounting, Finance, IT Services, Business Analysis, Finance Management, Taxation, Project management and Real Estate. Mr Aleva is a business and finance professional, an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting, MSc in Finance and an MBA. He is a consummate philanthropist who invests heavily in human capital development and the welfare of the less privileged. 


    Mr Aleva is happily married to his lovely wife, Mrs Stevena Aleva and they are blessed with a son.

Engr Joyce Erdoo Maagbe

Vice President

Assist the president and carry out duties as assigned.

    Engr Joyce Erdoo Maagbe is a renowned global women’s leader who is the International Coordinator for Mothers of the Nations, the visionary of ‘Thou Virtuous’ (a gathering of godly women) and President of Arewa Women’s League UK (AWLUK). She is also the immediate past Chief Whip of MUTUK. 


    Erdoo is a mother, grandmother and an author. She is passionate and has a burden for the less privileged women & children in North-Central Region of Nigeria. She sponsors children through all tiers of education and trains women in different vocational skills and empowers them to be self-sufficient. 


    Erdoo just launched a food bank and an open kitchen for the less privileged people in North Central Region of Nigeria.


Dr Rebecca Torkwase Kral

Secretary General

Coordinate communication, policy and administrative tasks.

    A dedicated and empathetic Doctor of General Medicine, Mrs Rebecca Torkwase Kral (MBBS) has consistently adopted a person-centred approach to all her professional and personal responsibilities over the years. 


    Through selfless acts of service, she is committed to unlocking the potential of Tiv people in the United Kingdom, Nigeria and globally.


 Dr Kurannen Baaki

Ast Secretary General

Assist the secretary and execute administrative duties.

    Dr Kurannen Baaki is a Senior Lecturer in Building Surveying at Liverpool John Moores University and currently a THIS Institute Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge where he is researching sustainable healthcare waste management within the UK National Health Service (NHS). 


    He holds a PhD in Asset and Facilities Management. Kurannen is the current Editor-in-Chief of Mzough, an annual magazine published by MUTUK and is passionate about promoting Tiv culture around the world. Kurannen has also published two novellas and several short stories. 


    He is married with a son. He enjoys writing, driving and watching sports.

Engr. Joseph Mvendega Tile

financial Secretary

Manage financial matters and record-keeping.

    Engr Joseph Tile delights in imparting knowledge to others through motivated teaching and community service. 


    He has been a university lecturer since, after experiencing teaching at both the primary and secondary levels of education in Nigeria. He has taught courses focusing on engineering materials and applications, operations research, automatic control, engineer in society, engineering mathematics, metal forming processes, metallurgy, etc. 


    He is currently pursuing a PhD in Metallurgy and Materials at the University of Birmingham, focusing on aluminium-based composites. 


    Joseph is a registered engineer with membership in various professional bodies such as NSE, NMS, NIM (Nigeria) and HEA (UK). His wife and their four children inspire Joseph and he likes to preach Christ’s gospel.



Lawrence Terpase Angeeikya

treasurer

Oversee the management of finance and monetary transactions.

    Terpase Lawrence Angeeikyaa works with Cygnet Health Care, one of biggest mental health hospitals in England. 


    He is an Instructor in Management and Prevention on Violence and Aggression. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Master of Science in Natural Resources Management and Climate Change. 


    He is married and the union is blessed with two boys. Terpase is a member of Basketball England and a National Basketball Referee. He is a gospel musician and a member of the Gillingham Community Choir and The Let Loose band. His hobbies are sporting, driving, and meeting people. 



Joy Kange

Organise and manage social events & activities of the organisation.

    Joy is the author of the children’s picture book “Mimi’s Little Holiday.” With a BA in English Language and a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management Joy has written several short stories, poems and published magazine articles. 


    She currently writes for Glam Africa magazine (a lifestyle publication that focuses on modern African lifestyle). She has been working in the financial sector for over 13 years and also owns an event planning business called Tailored Events by Joy.

Nadoo Jomboh

Manage external communication to promote the organisation’s activities.

  • Profile

    Nadoo Jomboh is a graphics designer, flight attendant, farmer, entrepreneur and the winner of the Miss Aviation Nigeria 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from Ahmadu Bello University. 


    She is the founder of Porker Hut Ltd. (piggery); Brandoski Nig. Ltd. (design and construction); Nadine Kellections (fashion). Her passion for the people led to the founding of Nadine Forster Foundation, an NGO that caters for the elderly and less privileged. She loves to travel to explore.

Dooshima Bundepun

    Florence Dooshima Bundepun is from Kwande Local Government area of Benue State. 


    She holds a Masters of Science degree in Economics from Benue State University, Makurdi and is pursuing another Human Resource Management qualification in the UK. 


    She enjoys singing, dancing, drawing and playing board games.
